This project is a book translation of the movie essay "The Century of the Self" by Adam Curtis. The Century of the Self focuses on the psychology of crowds as proposed by Sigmund Freud and experimented by Edward Bernays. The book captures the essence of the movie through the use of quirky advertisement inserts and dense/dark spreads.
